Alternating Sit Ups



One of the reasons I love making clients do sit ups, is because nobody does them anymore. We have become a society that crunches themselves to death because that is only ab exercise we know anymore. Sit ups require a much larger range of motion. Do them with your feet unanchored and try to keep your heels down to minimize hip flexor activation. By adding this twist to the motion, we increase activation of the oblique muscles making this a very effective ab motion.
