Overhead Press at Hyperextension



This are much harder than they look and do a lot more than you'd expect. This particular press works not only the deltoid muscles of the shoulder, but also the traps, rhomboids, and erectors of the spine. Weight pressed overhead in this plane of motion also encourages range of motion in the shoulder which serves to correct function. Make sure to keep the back of your head lined up with your upper back as well as keeping your toes pointed down and your abs tight.
